alliant has always had a strong mission to promote STEM education, therefore we are proud to celebrate teachers who are igniting that spark for the next generation of innovators. Since 2019, we have been recognizing elementary science teachers in Texas who are increasing student engagement and achievement through innovative lesson plans that emphasize both the importance and fun aspects of science.
SPARK Award Registration
We will choose 5 finalists from across the state of Texas to see who our 2026 SPARK Award will be!
- The overall winner will receive: $3,500 personal award, plus $500 toward their classroom
- The other four finalists will receive: $1,300 personal award, plus $500 toward their classroom
Guidelines:
- Must be a full-time science elementary teacher at an accredited Texas school
- Must complete application form and include a video
- Must be able to attend award ceremony in Houston, Thursday, June 11, 2026
- Being active on social media, especially LinkedIn, is a plus!
