Holly Paz is an attorney who brings more than two decades of experience in federal tax law and tax administration, including senior leadership roles at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and in private practice advising complex business, nonprofit, and high-wealth individual taxpayers. Holly most recently served as Commissioner of the Large Business & International (LB&I) Division of the IRS, directing the administration of federal tax laws affecting large corporations, partnerships, S corporations, high-wealth individuals, and international taxpayers. She oversaw the implementation of provisions of landmark tax legislation, including the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy investment and production tax credits as well as cross-cutting issues such as elective pay, transferability and prevailing wage and apprenticeship, and the Bipartisan Budget Act’s centralized partnership audit regime. Prior executive roles included leading partnership audit strategy, corporate tax technical guidance on issues including the research credit, and tax-exempt organizations rulings and agreements. Earlier in her career, Holly practiced tax law at leading national firms, advising corporations, tax-exempt organizations, fiduciaries, and high-net-worth individuals on complex tax, governance, and estate planning matters. Holly has a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
